Hotel MyCUBE Nagasaki
Nagasaki, Japan
Enclosed cabins in the middle of a tram city, built for travellers who are out all day.
MyCUBE sits centrally in Nagasaki, close enough to the tram lines that the whole city becomes a short ride. The units are cabins rather than tubes: a real door, a bed, controlled lighting, a place to put what you carry.
Everything else is shared, and the hotel is organised around that honestly — bathing floors, washrooms and dressing areas are clean, well signed and separated by gender in the usual arrangement.
The trade is obvious and, for the right trip, favourable. A secure berth, no wasted square metres, and the harbour and hillside districts within walking distance of the door.
Guests using Nagasaki as a base for day trips get the most out of it. Guests planning to spend the afternoon in their room will not.
